New Lifeline Partnership Engagement

RDC organised a partnership engagement session at the Redi Centre in Redditch on 7th June 2023, to share information about the New Lifeline Digital Telecare Service. This was advertised through local networks, including BARN, RBC Partnership, and our PCN/VCS. The event was attended by partners from interested groups. Partners joining included Social Prescribers, Age UK H&W, Age UK BRWF, Macmillan Cancer, HWFR, PCN Frailty Team, and Redditch Borough Council Activity Development.

Room space was provided collaboratively and without charge by the Redi Centre.

Rachel Nicholls and Phil Weston from B&R New Lifeline Service delivered a really successful engagement with a comprehensive delivery around the service, community applications, and different equipment available to those in the Redditch community who could benefit. Interested representatives from a range of different organisations and roles attended, including:

• Local Macmillan Cancer support service Hubs

• Age UK representatives from both BRWF and also H&W including

• Age UK local Befriending Service

• Age UK Armed Forces Veterans and Carers Service

• Home Instead

• Redditch Borough Council

• Bromsgrove District Council

• Carers Careline

• Redditch Social Prescribing team

• Redditch Lifestyle Advisors

Thank you to the Redi Centre for providing a free venue for this event along with an exceptionally warm welcome. Everyone gained a much improved understanding of the New Lifeline Service delivery and had the opportunity to engage in open discussions around suitable applications for the technology and to ask any questions in an open forum. After the presentation, a number of people stayed on to network with other organisations represented.
